SHINE Dentistry is a non-profit dental clinic operated by the dental students of the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta. Based out of the Boyle McCauley Health Centre, our clinic runs most Saturdays throughout the year and provides free dental care to low-income and inner-city youth. Dental work is performed by volunteer dental students, who are assisted and supervised by licensed dentist preceptors.
The SHINE dental clinic relies on the generous support of many community sponsors to fund its operations. There are many ways you can help SHINE Dentistry, including tax-deductible monetary donations, donations of dental equipment to our clinic, or volunteering your time as a dentist preceptor. The SHINE Dentistry Golf Tournament, our largest fundraising event, is also a fun and popular way to support our clinic.
