Students volunteering at SHINE Dentistry are required to undergo a criminal record check and a volunteer orientation session prior to attending a clinic shift. Training sessions are held periodically, and information related to training will appear here.

Student volunteers should make sure to fill out the CE credits sheet for the preceptor, and also ensure that the patients fill out surveys and that all treatment they received is noted in the patient logs. Also remember, as far as possible, to avoid using Boyle MacCauley's equipment for clinical procedures.
